So today my group is entering a competition to lead the Green Club in your school. We have the question: What would you do to reduce pollution in our country if you were the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment? Now we will find the answer to the above questionIf I were the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, the first thing I would do is to launch a nationwide campaign of conserving energy: turning off lights, computers, and electric appliances when not in use Using energy efficient light bulbs and appliancesI would encourage using public transport instead of using private cars, and I myself would do it first. Bus BicycleBesides, I would encourage every family, school, organization or association to carry out the THREE-R movement: REUSE, REDUCE, RECYCLE.I would fine heavily the companies which dump industrial waste without treatment. I would fine people who do bad things to environment: littering, disafforestation, and waste dumping into rivers.
