I.Objectives

- Ss will be able to review and drill section of the unit. By the end of this lesson: Ss see how far they have progressed, and which areas need further practice. Through the students’ performance in this section, teachers can evalue their study results and provide further practice if necessary.

- Practice doing exercises: Complete the sentences with the correct form of the words in brackets, write types of pollution in the word web, using the first and the second condition as well as possible.

- New words: outskirt, residential, resident, carbon, dioxide.

- Skills: Practice doing exercises.

II. Teaching aids.

- Teacher: Extra boards, flash cards, computer, projector.

- Students: Prepare the new words, practice pronouncing these words

- Ss work in small groups and write types of pollution in the word web.(AC2) 
Land/ soil polution , radioactive pollution, thermal pollution.
- T check the whole class.
- T notices the words about pollution.
A. VOCABULARY. (19’)
* Activity 1: 1. Complete the sentences with the correct form of the words in brackets..
- T gives the newwords and the phonetic , asks Ss to read the words again and again , notice the pronunciation. Then T asks the meaning of the newwords.
* Activity 2: 3. Rewrite the sentences, using the words in brackets.
- T gives the task clearly, then asks Ss to work individually.
- Let Ss compare their answers with a partner. Check Ss’ answers.
B. GRAMMAR.(10’)
* Activity 3: 4. Put the verbs in brackets into the correct form.
- Guide the way to do
- Ask Ss to complete this task individually.
- 2 Ss go to the board and do, then T checks with the whole class.
C. COMMUNICATION.
4. Production.: (7’)
- Ss work in groups to discuss what they would do or say in each situation. Ask Ss to read the example.
- T moves around the class to listen to their ideas.
5. Homework. (3’)
- Do project at home.
