1. Simple present tense.
Form: S + V(s/es)
Usage: Simple present tense is used to express a habit in the present time. 
Ex: I always go to school by bike.
Note: Verb form of the third person singular.
a. Verbs ending in: - ch, - sh, - s, - ss , - tch , - x, - z , -zz, - o ,we add es to form the third person singular.
Ex: kiss kisses go goes

b. Verbs ending in “y” follows a consonant we change the “y” in to “i” and add es.

2. Simple past tense.
Form : S + Ved/PI 
Usage: Simple past tense is used to express an action, which happens and finishes in the past.
Ex: Yesterday, I went to the library.
Note: Verb form of simple past tense.
+ Regular Verbs.
We add “ed” after that verb.
Ex: like liked love loved

Verb form of the Regular Verbs.
- Verbs ending in “e” we only add “d”
